Cindy Elizabeth Calderon attended Florida International University and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. Cindy joined Geoffrey M. Wayne, P.A. in 2018 as a legal assistant and was quickly promoted as our firm’s Administrative Director. Cindy excels in all matters related to law firm administration and is well regarded by our clients as an efficient and knowledgeable resource. Cindy plays an integral role in our practice by assisting our clients with their day-to-day needs and inquiries.
Rafaela Marcos Roldán
Legal Assistant
Rafaela Marcos Roldán graduated with honors from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Quito, Ecuador with a law degree.
During her senior year of college she joined Pérez, Bustamante & Ponce as a legal assistant in the tax team. Upon graduation, she was admitted to practice law in Ecuador
and she joined PBP as an attorney. She specializes in tax and corporate matters. She advises individuals, families and companies on tax and estate planning, probate, application of
treaties to avoid double taxation, tax due diligence, and compliance with formal tax obligations. She has experience handling administrative procedures for information requests,
administrative challenges, tax refund applications and all types of litigation in tax courts. Since January 2021, she has been enrolled in the LLM program with a mention in tax
planning and international taxation at the Universidad Andina Simon Bolívar in Quito, Ecuador and she is expected to graduate in July 2022.
